How to do it: The gap between the two vertical surfaces cannot be longer than the length of your maximum split angle. Get one foot on followed quickly by the other and trust the pressure your split generates, it will keep you up there. Care: Make sure the surface is not slippery. Warming up splits on the ground help you to make sure you can split your legs more than 20 degrees. It is advisable to keep close to the ground if you are not sure about your thigh muscles.
